Friday | Kickoff & Packet Pickup

Kick off One City Marathon weekend by picking up your race packet at the Holiday Inn (580 Omni Blvd). Once you’re checked in and ready to go, head over to City Center at Oyster Point for the official Kickoff Event from 5:30–8:30 p.m. on Mariners Row. Enjoy live energy, local atmosphere, and the excitement of runners and visitors coming together to start the weekend strong.

Saturday | Race Day & Celebration

Saturday brings high-energy races and post-run fun in the heart of City Center. The Sentara 5K and Nautical Mile both start at the City Center Marriott, welcoming runners of all levels to take on the course. After crossing the finish line, keep the celebration going at Tradition Brewing Company during the One City Celebration, where runners and spectators can relax, refuel, and soak in the race-day atmosphere.

Sunday | Marathon Day & Celebration

Sunday is the main event. Runners take on the One City Marathon and BayPort Half Marathon, showcasing endurance, determination, and city pride as Newport News cheers them on. Following the races, the celebration continues at Coastal Fermentory Downtown, where participants and visitors alike can gather, unwind, and toast to an unforgettable One City Marathon weekend.
