Arts & Culture
The Arts can open the doors of imagination, stir powerful emotions, offer a respite from a busy life, make strangers talk and children ask questions. Whether it's a traveling exhibit, hands-on classes, a Broadway show or a toe-tapping musical, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the arts in Newport News!

Art & Sculpture Driving Tour
Download the Art & Sculpture Brochure or request a hard copy. Newport News has had a proud heritage of outdoor art for the public to enjoy and has nearly three dozen pieces of public art on display throughout the city. To showcase these pieces of artwork, the Newport News Tourism Development Office - with assistance from the Newport News Public Art Foundation - has produced a brochure highlighting the city's outdoor art sculptures. The brochure features 34 works of art, each corresponding to a number on a map.
