Newport News is full of color, creativity, and community spirit — and it’s all captured in our Love NN Rocks program!
What Is It?
Love NN Rocks is a fun and interactive way to explore Newport News through hand-painted rocks hidden around the city. Each rock is a small work of art, often themed to the area where it's placed. For example, a rock painted with a crab might be tucked away near The Crab Shack!
But the fun doesn’t stop there — once a rock is found, it can be re-hidden anywhere in the city, even outside of its original theme. It’s all about keeping the fun going and surprising the next lucky rock hunter!
