The Tour of Newport News is an exciting USA Cycling-sanctioned three-day, four-event omnium set to take place in Newport News, VA, from April 11-13, 2025. Open to both amateur and professional cyclists, this high-energy event will feature a variety of races, scenic routes, and plenty of entertainment for spectators. Racers will be competing for more than $15,000 in cash and prizes. Whether you're racing or cheering on the competitors, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

Race Route Overview 

Todd Stadium Points Race (Friday, April 11, 2025) 

Location: Todd Stadium, 12465 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA 

This thrilling race demands constant focus as competitors battle for points every five laps, pushing their speed and endurance to the limit. 

Crawford Road Time Trial (Saturday, April 12, 2025) 

Location: Yorktown Middle School, 11201 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Yorktown, VA 

This challenging time trial will test individual power and pacing along a scenic but demanding five-mile course. 

Newport News Twilight Criterium (Saturday, April 12, 2025) 

Location: Newport News City Hall, 2400 Washington Ave, Newport News, VA 

An electrifying criterium race through the streets of Newport News, featuring tight turns, sprints, and thrilling nighttime action. Before the main event, children ages 2 to 10 can participate in the free “Kid’s Fun Race” at 12:15 p.m. The criterium officially kicks off at 12:30 p.m. City Hall will host food, drinks, a vendor expo, and fun games for spectators. 

Fort Eustis Circuit Race (Sunday, April 13, 2025) 

Location: Anderson Field House, 643 Dickman St, Fort Eustis, VA 

The tour wraps up with this race, featuring military categories, Wounded Warriors, and para-racers on a fast, flat 5K course inside an active military base.
