What Is the Ambassador Pass?

The Newport News Ambassador Pass is a complimentary pass available to Newport News residents and current City of Newport News employees. The pass allows one-time FREE admission each week to participating Newport News attractions for:

  • Two adults (16+)

  • Two children

Valid only on the designated attraction dates listed below.

 


 

Who Is Eligible?

You are eligible if you are:

  • Newport News residents (with proof of residency)

  • City of Newport News employee (proof of employment)

  • Active-duty military and spouses residing on Fort Eustis (with proof of address)

  • Christopher Newport University students (with a valid student ID)

  • Newport News retirees (with proof of retirement from the city)

Proof is required at pass pickup.

January 19–25

  • Historic Endview (Open Wed–Sat)

  • James A. Field House (Open Tues–Sat)

January 26 – February 1

  • The Mariners’ Museum & Park (Open Daily)

  • Virginia War Museum (Open Wed–Sun)

February 2–8

  • Newport News Park Disc Golf (Open Daily)
    Check in at the Newport News Visitor Center, 13560 Jefferson Ave., 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

  • Peninsula SPCA & Barnyard (Open Mon–Sat)

February 6 & 7

  • Lee Hall Depot (Open Fri & Sat only)

The Ambassador Pass can only be redeemed at the attractions on their selected dates.
