NEWPORT NEWS, VA, (January 12, 2026) – Celebrating its 13th year, Newport News Restaurant Week returns January 11-25 with 40 restaurants offering fixed price meals at some of the city’s most popular dining establishments. From flavorful entrees to irresistible desserts, there’s something for every palate. Since its debut in 2013, this highly anticipated event has been a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
In celebration of Restaurant Week, contests will be held on Instagram and Facebook, giving participants a chance to be one of the 40 winners of gift cards to one of the participating restaurants. Among this year’s participants, seven restaurants proudly return from the very first Newport News Restaurant Week, highlighting their lasting contribution to this celebrated local tradition: Circa 1918 Kitchen & Bar, Crab Shack on the James, Fin Seafood, Harpoon Larry’s Oyster Bar, Sage Kitchen at Anderson’s, Schlesinger’s Steakhouse, and Smoke BBQ.
This year, Restaurant Week welcomes a large number of new participants, including favorites like Lobstah King’s, La Parilla, Dough Haus, Skrimp Shack, Choice Korean, Frank & Spoon, and more. Some returning establishments include Bonefish Grill, Burger Theory, Farmer’s Table of Newport News, Hayashi Sushi & Grill, Indulge Bakery & Bistro, Second Street Bistro, and Steak & Tonic.
